Wilfred (Bill) Drew was recently hired as the Technical Librarian at the US Air Force Research Labs in Rome, New York. This is a contracted position working for Croop-LaFrance. His duties include cataloging, database searches, management of electronic resources, collection development, and stacks management.

Bill was formerly employed as the Librarian for Electronic Resources, Systems, Technical Services and Serials at Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) in Dryden. Prior to TC3, Bill was a librarian at Morrisville State College for over twenty years.

Bill received his Masters of Science in Library and Information Services from Drexel University, College of Information Studies in 1985 and his Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in 1976. He was selected to be a member of Beta Phi Mu in 1986. Bill received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Librarianship in 1995.
