NYLA’s Leadership and Management Section (LAMS) is seeking articles for it’s next journal issue. The focus is on libraries and librarians serving as community refuges and resources after a natural disaster or disruptive event affects their communities.

Do you have a story to tell or an experience to share? Did your library become a refuge in our recent record snowfalls?

JLAMS was created in order to provide New York Librarians access to some of the wonderful thinking and research taking place in the Empire State. In addition to helping to disseminate best practices and best thinking, we want to encourage research in library science within the state, nurture research abilities, and help improve professional writing among our peers.

JLAMS editorial policy, previous issues, and proposal sheet are available HERE.
