Just like a “big” community library, a Little Free Library stands because of the efforts of many people.

Last week, CLRC unveiled a LFL across the road from our office. If you’ve seen the video Déirdre posted on our FB page, you heard her ask, Why did the Little Free Library cross the road?

Well, it was because of the following people:
•   Jill Hurst-Wahl – SU iSchool – for her inspiration
•   Mike Dooling – Advance Central Services – for the box
•   Rocco Conte (and Sue Ziemba) – Town of Dewitt – for the space
•   Andrew Loucy – Image Press – for the signs
•   Alex Thor – for his carpentry skills
•   Nissa Thor – for her knack with a paintbrush
•   Senator DeFrancisco – for his support of libraries little and big
•   the book donors and the book takers

A huge THANK YOU to everyone.

Take a look at CLRC’s Facebook page for some videos and photos.

And if you happen to be in the neighborhood for a CLRC class, or driving by on your way to somewhere else, make a stop at the bright turquoise box on Ridings Road and Twin Oaks Drive. You’re welcome to take a book or leave a book.
