Love libraries? Love pizza?
The two are coming together at a library near you for CLRC’s February “First Mondays” event.
Join us for our inaugural 2012 First Mondays event at Solvay Public Library as CLRC members come together to discuss Syracuse University’s Jill Hurst-Wahl’s book The Information and Knowledge Professional’s Career Handbook with the author herself. Veteran librarians are encouraged to come and share their reflections on their own career path, while newer professionals and students are encouraged to come and ask questions.
What is First Monday?
On the first Monday of every month, at locations scattered throughout the region, we invite librarians and library staff to come together and discuss their experience with the topics listed below. Those with no experience or lots of experience are encouraged to attend. Bring what you know; bring questions for what you WANT to know. We’ll bring the pizza!
This is an informal event. All we ask is that you give us a heads-up (or a phone call) telling us that you’re planning to be there by 3pm on the day of the event. Earlier notice is accepted and appreciated. If fewer than 3 people tell us they’re coming, we call it off…
When and Where?
