Library Resources & Services Committee Charge
In June of 2011, the Executive Board approved a proposal to merge the Automation committee and the Library Resources and Services Committees.
The Library Resources and Services (LRS) Committee is established to provide information and guidance to CLRC member libraries for effective development and management of library resources and technical infrastructure. This includes print, media, and electronic collections; personnel; and library and IT services. The LRS will evaluate existing resources and services and assess the future needs of Central New York libraries in order to identify strategies to enhance current resources and technologies or implement new ones. The committee will review the Coordinated Collection Development Program on a regular basis. The committee will make recommendations on the expenditure of RBDB funding on an annual basis.
