The Central NY Library Resources Council supports libraries in Herkimer, Madison, Oneida & Onondaga counties and advocates for libraries everywhere!

The Hospital Library Service Program (HLSP) is a state-funded program to provide services to assist not-for-profit hospitals, licensed by the New York State Health Department, to meet the Board of Regents standards of quality for health science libraries in hospitals.

The Hospital Library Service Program supports a medical circuit library program. The Circuit Program brings a professional librarian to contracting hospitals that do not have a librarian on staff. The Program also provides support for medical resource sharing, access to online medical information, medical library continuing education, and technology enhancements for all hospital libraries.

The Hospital Library Committee serves as an advisory committee for the Hospital Library Service Program. The Committee advises on the priorities for activities and funding of each year’s Hospital Library Services Program plan.
