CLRC has eleven committees. Members of these committees come from a variety of libraries and archives in order to best reflect the diversity of our members’ needs. These members help CLRC to make critical decisions for the betterment of CLRC services, resources and programs. |

Criteria for consideration as a committee member include, but are not limited to, experience and awareness of library service in the areas relevant to the committee; membership and participation in such professional groups as ALA, NYLA, SLA, MLA, etc. ; and the constituence represented by the appointee. Chairs of program committees work with CLRC in filling committee vacancies. Committee membership terms are 2 years with a limit of 3 consecutive full terms except where participation may be required as determined by the President of CLRC’s Board of Trustees. Terms for each committee are staggered so that a portion expire each year. The term for a Committee Chair is 2 years, with a limit of two consecutive full terms. |
