CLRC is pleased to announce that Hamilton Public Library, has a featured collection in New York Heritage Digital Collections this January.
The Hamilton Public Library Postcards collection features postcards depicting businesses and landscapes in and around the Village of Hamilton, NY. Founded in 1795 and first known as Payne’s Settlement, the Village of Hamilton celebrated its bicentennial in 1995. It is also home to Colgate University (another CLRC academic library member). Images featured in the collection generally date from 1910 to 1950.
