Gail Barone, the Director of Education and Libraries, has been at Rome Memorial Hospital, one of CLRC’s circuit hospital members, for 41 years. She was the hospital educator, responsible for the orientation of incoming employees, as well as addressing the staff’s professional development needs. Gail served as the force behind Rome’s annual Community Health Fair, developed children’s and teen safety and health programming and was the hospital’s library liaison.
