Job Description:
The Northern Onondaga Public Library has two openings for half-time (18-20 hours per week) Library Clerks. The positions are based at the North Syracuse location, but may also float to work at libraries in Brewerton and Cicero. Hours: will include weekend hours. Primarily providing customer service at the circulation desks, but may be asked to perform other tasks in the library as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma
Must have reliable transportation
Excellent customer service skills
Familiarity with common computer applications
Salary & Benefits:
Pay Rate: starting hourly rate is $9.92 per hour. Part-time staff members are eligible to join the New York State Retirement System, and receive some employee benefits.
