Job Description:
Will carry out broad policy as determined by the Board of Trustees and supervise both professional and clerical personnel.
Position Duties:
Directs and supervises budgeting and expenditure of library funds;
Develops and evaluates plans for library services;
Reviews and develops policies for operation of the library;
Administers personnel policies;
Supervises library staff;
Supervises and administers purchases for library materials, and;
Responsible for public and community relations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include Masters Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited graduate program.
Six or more years of professional library experience, two or more years in an administrative capacity.
