Academic Medical Collection Grants
Our Academic Medical Collection Grants support the training of new medical and healthcare professionals by providing access to relevant and up-to-date textbooks and reference materials.
Academic Libraries serving healthcare or medical students can apply for $500 to $3,000 to purchase physical or electronic textbooks, database subscriptions, and other reference materials for student use. CLRC will consider requests for additional resource types on a case-by-case basis. Academic Medical Collection Grants are funded through the Medical Information Services Program (MISP), a New York State Library program which provides clinical medical and consumer health information services for libraries and library systems via the nine ESLN councils. Consequently, all materials requested through this grant must be primarily medical in nature and content.
