Hamilton Public Library, the Upstate Institute, and Colgate University Libraries invite you to celebrate National Library Week with a special event: a free showing of the Frederick Wiseman documentary Ex Libris.

“Ex Libris” explores the New York Public Library system and modern libraries in general. Panelists will bring their unique perspectives to the question of a library’s place in today’s communities. They will discuss the benefits libraries bring to their communities, as well as the challenges they face from ever-shifting socio-political climates.
