Paid Digitization Internship (Summer 2017)
$15/Hour — 150 Hours Total
Central New York Library Resources Council is seeking an intern for Summer 2017 to take on multiple digitization projects that have been proposed by our member libraries. Each project will involve a site visit consultation, the creation and execution of an individualized digitization plan, the generation of appropriate descriptive metadata, and a report detailing strategies for continuing the library’s digitization project in the future.
Successful applicants should have some experience or coursework relating to cultural heritage preservation, special collections management, or cataloging principles. Preference will be given to current students and recent graduates.
