CDLC In-Person Workshop: Addressing Disrespectful Behaviors

This interactive, in-person workshop will equip library staff with the tools to identify, address, and prevent disrespectful behavior in the workplace. Participants will explore:
- Identifying disrespectful behavior in the workplace and its sources
- The impact of a disrespectful workplace
- How to proactively address disrespectful behavior
- Using an “assertive ask” to address behaviors while fostering a respectful environment
The program will feature scenarios and examples relevant to library settings.
About the Presenter: Holly Boucher works for IntegraHR in Rensselaer, New York. She has over a decade of experience supporting the growth and development of individuals and teams in a variety of settings, including education, financial services, and retail. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Childhood and Special Education from SUNY Geneseo and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University at Buffalo.
