METRO Webinar: Affordable Telephone and Internet Resources During the COVID-19 Pandemic

This webinar will provide an overview of the Lifeline low-income discount telephone program and low-income internet programs in New York State, while explaining changes and updates to these programs in light of the COVID-19 health pandemic.

Sam Faduski (they/them/their) is the Staff Attorney for Western New York with the Public Utility Law Project. They specialize in public benefits and LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion in the context of public utilities. Mx. Faduski graduated from the University at Buffalo’s dual JD/MSW program, and worked with Legal Services of Central New York in Syracuse before starting at PULP. They are admitted to practice law in New York and are a licensed master social worker.

The Digital Equity webinar series is organized by the New York State Library and the New York State Education Department, in partnership with the METRO Library Council and the Northern New York Library Network.
