An instructional video is “any video that demonstrates a process\, transfers knowledge\, explains a concept\, or shows someone how to do something” (Simon\, 2020) They can literally be about anything\, and anyone can make them. \nIn this 2-part program\, we will learn how to make our own instructional videos. Instructional videos are a great way to relay information\, however\, the process can seem intimidating and be time-consuming. Together\, we will learn about creating effective instructional videos using free and low-cost tools. The session presenter\, Dr. Baker\, is an instructional design expert who has provided detailed videos on the basics of production including the design process\, software\, equipment\, and resources. \nPart 1 (12/1): Let’s learn! We’ll screen videos from Dr. Baker and review a resources toolkit for attendees utilize in their own video creation. \nPart 2 (12/17): Let’s see!
