SIG: Early Career Professionals November Meetup – Combatting Imposter Syndrome

November 12, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Are you an Early Career Library & Information Professional? Then we want YOU to join us at the November meeting of CLRC’s Early Career Professionals Special Interest Group (SIG)!

For this month’s meeting, we’ll be talking about combatting imposter syndrome as an early career professional. Do you ever feel inadequate in your profession despite achieving success? We’ll talk about that self-doubt! Why do we feel it? What can we do to make it go away? Does everyone feel this way? We’ll be having an open conversation where we can share our experiences and help each other.

**Dinner will be provided**

More Information about the ECP SIG:

In this group you’ll identify issues that are important to you as an early career professional as well as network and trade stories with other regional early career professionals.

You’re eligible for the ECP SIG if:

  • you’re in the first five (5) years of your library/information career and
  • you’re a CLRC or ESLN member (if your institution or parent insitution is a member, so are you! Don’t hesitate to ask if you’re unsure).
