SENYLRC Webinar: SENYCon Prequel – Pandemic Pivot Presentations
March 5 @ 9:45 am - 2:00 pm
On January 21, 2020 the first case of COVID-19 was identified in Washington State. In late February we were starting to wash our hands more and learn how to elbow bump. On Friday, March 13, 2020 the Southeastern staff all took our laptops home with the idea that we’d be closed for a few weeks. On April 3, 2020 we pivoted SENYCon into an online event. Now, a year later we look back at how much has changed and what we have learned. SENYCon 2021 will also be a virtual event, in two parts.
On this day, we present half of the presentations that members submitted, the ones that feature work related to the pivot. The event will be a celebration of the tenacity, creativity, and hard work that went into shifting services in the past 12 months. Both academic and public libraries are represented, and the event is open to all. The day will be hosted on one continuous Zoom call so that you can attend as much or as little as you would like to. All presenters will be live and available for Q&A.
