WNYLRC Webinar: Universal Design for Learning – Making Your Teaching Work for Everyone

April 19, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm EDT

Universal Design for Learning is a set of principles to guide instructors in creating truly accessible learning environments in which all learners can thrive. In this workshop, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the principles of Universal Design for Learning – multiple means of representation, multiple means of action and expression, and multiple means of engagement – as they apply to information literacy instruction. We will discuss how these guidelines can be applied to one-shot, embedded, and for-credit teaching contexts. Participants will have a chance to discuss potential barriers to implementing UDL and brainstorm ways of overcoming these barriers together.

Registrants will be emailed the workshop information one day prior to the webinar.
