Workshop Description:
Change and transition have become constants in our culture and can be challenging to navigate. This program explores attitudes, skills, and strategies that may be useful in responding to the many demands of change and transition. This training addresses the phases of transition, common reactions to change as well as strategies for successfully adapting to change.
About the Presenter:
Steven M. Jobson, LCSW, attended and graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences. He then attended and graduated from Syracuse University with a Master’s in Social Work.
Mr. Jobson has worked as a substance abuse counselor at Alpha House inpatient rehabilitation program, as a Social Worker at Elmcrest Children’s Center, as a Psychiatric Evaluator at Crouse-Irving Memorial’s Emergency Psychiatric Observation Service (EPOS) and the Mobile Evaluation and Referral Service (MERS), as a Social Worker at Upstate Medical Center, and as the Director of Liberty Resources Employee Assistance Program.
Mr. Jobson has over thirty years of Clinical Social work experience. He is a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) for the Department of Transportation, accredited by NAADAC, The Association for Addiction Professionals. He practices as a Licensed Clincial Social Worker in the State of New York.
