About Advocacy Day:
CLRC will be chartering a bus to take members and library supporters to Albany for the New York Library Association’s (NYLA) Library Advocacy Day. All participants have the opportunity to meet with their state legislators to discuss the impact libraries have on their communities and to ask for increased funding.

CLRC will be scheduling appointments with regional Assemblymembers and Senators and will provided the agenda to all participants. Check out the CLRC Advocacy page on our website for a list of regional legislators.

For bus riders:
Pickup locations will be at the CLRC office on Ridings Road in Syracuse and the North Utica Shopping Plaza in Utica (located at 50 Auert Avenue). Additional stops along the New York State Thruway at the Herkimer and Little Falls Commuter Park & Ride will be added if needed.

The bus holds 47 passengers. Reserve your seat early.
