March 1 – NYLA Advocacy Day in Albany

The New York Library Association is the voice of the library community advocating at the state and local level for funding support for libraries and library systems. Each spring, libraries from across New York State rally at the State Capitol to bring their message to our legislators. Click here for information.

CLRC will be chartering a bus to Albany to join the rally. Watch for registration and details.

May 1 and 2 – Liaison Hotel, Washington DC
Registration is now open.

How will the new Administration deal with issues important to libraries? NLLD is an opportunity to address the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA), intellectual freedom, privacy, copyright, net neutrality and other important topics to librarians and library users.
