The Oneida Whig has recently been added to New York State Historic Newspapers (NYSHN). This weekly ran from 1834 to 1853 and is now available for research use by students, historians, and genealogists in Central New York and beyond. The issues available for access through the NYSHN website range from 1836 to 1841 and have been provided by SUNY Potsdam from their holdings.
