Save the date! Wednesday, March 2, 2016 is Library Advocacy Day in Albany. This annual opportunity for library supporters to meet with their elected officials in our state capitol is sponsored by the New York Library Association (NYLA). CLRC will continue its tradition of renting a bus to take our Central NY library advocates to Albany. The bus departs about 6:30 am from CLRC headquarters in East Syracuse, and makes a stop to pick up passengers in Utica. The bus will depart from Albany after we finish our legislative appointments for the day, drop off the Utica passengers, and return to CLRC by about 6:30 pm. CLRC arranges the appointments with all of our area legislators in Albany and appoints a group leader for each appointment. For a very nominal fee – just cost recovery for the bus – you can travel in comfort and leave all the logistics to us. We hope you’ll be able to join us on our annual adventure. Stay tuned for more information as we are currently finalizing arrangements for the bus. If you have questions, please contact Anna Dobkowski (adobkowski@clrc.org) or call us at 315-446-5446.
