Libraries must rise to the challenge of the new information age, and find new ways to appeal to communities who have different needs than previous generations. Transformative change in libraries must start from the inside with those who will effect the change-i.e., library administration and staff. Gain new insights on how to build good organizational habits by following Heath and Heath’s “Switch” framework (2010) to shape the path in order to achieve sustainable change in your libraries. Examples of change management initiatives from a public and an academic library will be discussed in the context of the “Switch” framework.
