WCNY is accepting nominations for its 7th Annual Women Who Make America Awards from all nineteen counties in its viewing area and includes the CLRC region – Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, and Onondaga.
The nomination deadline is January 10, 2019.
Nominees must be 18 or older and should be women who are making significant contributions in any of the counties WCNY serves. Nominees will be evaluated on how they impact their communities to shape today’s America.
A nomination form is available online at www.wcny.org/makers or by calling 315-453-2424. Nominations also can be sent by postal mail to WCNY, P.O. Box 2400, Syracuse, NY 13220-2400.
The winners will be honored at a reception on March 8 at the Women’s Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls. This year’s ceremony event coincides with International Women’s Day. Following the ceremony, a luncheon will be held at The Gould Hotel.
