Does your library have a hard time getting teens through the door? Are you having a hard time engaging with the young adult population? While there may be no one-size-fits-all solution, this webinar will share some tools and approaches to engage with teens in your library.<\/span><\/p>\n Transforming Teen Services (T3) is a series of trainings designed to help improve library services for teens across four basic content areas:<\/span><\/p>\n Learn about this series based training and transform teen services in your library.<\/span><\/p>\n Shauntee Burns-Simpson<\/strong>\u00a0(MLIS) currently serves as the 2020-2022 President of BCALA. She is the Associate Director of School Outreach for The New York Public Library. An ambassador for libraries and Youth Librarian, President Burns-Simpson enjoys connecting people to the public library and its resources. She works closely with at-risk teens and fosters a love of reading & learning with her innovative programs. In addition to leading BCALA, she chairs the American Library Association Office of Diversity, Literacy, & Outreach Services (ODLOS) Committee on Diversity.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
