Meredith Tornabene, Associate Director of Career Counseling at Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies (iSchool), invites you to attend iConnect, a new opportunity to connect with MLIS students.

This idea of bringing current students together with local professionals came directly from students in the Library & Information Science Student Assembly (LISSA). While iConnect will be set-up similarly to a career fair, libraries do not necessarily need to have an open position in order to attend. This is an opportunity for you to share the mission of your organization, what your current projects entail, and promote ways students can engage with you now or in the future.

The inaugural iConnect event will be held on Wednesday, October 14th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Hinds Hall, the home of the iSchool. There are 66 on-campus LIS students and our goal is to ensure they have a better sense of the organizations in their backyard by hearing directly from you.

If you are interested in attending, please sign up here. Please note there is no cost to attend.
