New York libraries love the Fair!
Plans are underway to make the 2015 New York State Fair Libraries Booth bigger and better than ever!
If you had the opportunity to volunteer for a shift last year, you know how much fun it was – the trivia wheel, the colorful dotted survey, and most importantly, talking to fair goers about all the services that all types of libraries offer their communities.
Volunteers “work” a two-hour shift. The booth is staffed for 12 hours each day, all 12 days of the Fair. So we will be needing 144 volunteers. Interested? Sign up here.
If you cannot squeeze a volunteer shift into your schedule, please consider donating a few dollars to the cause. The cost for the booth, admission tickets for all volunteers, tee shirts and candy prizes adds up and we need your support.
