Over sixty library supporters, including librarians, trustees, administrators and students spent the morning at Pine Grove Middle School chatting with newly-elected  and re-elected legislators about services offered by their community and school libraries and to ask for continued support (monies).

Thank you to Senators-elect Rachel May and Bob Antonacci for coming to meet your new library constituents. Thank you to Assemblyman Stirpe, Assemblyman Magnarelli, Assemblywoman Hunter and Congressman Katko for sending a representative from their offices. And thank you to Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon for taking the time out of his busy schedule to speak with County librarians and students. Being able to “speed date” our legislators is a big hit from both sides of the table.
