Weather related disasters like hurricanes and severe storms threaten communities with heavy rain, high wind, flooding, and power outages – and it can happen at any time! Libraries and archives must be prepared if they are to mitigate problems and minimize damage to cultural collections, whether the event is sudden or expected. The Preservation Interest Group will discuss what you should have on hand in terms of supplies, options for storage and quick access, and how to maintain your stash.
