For Felt’s Sake: Using Flannel Boards to Enhance Early Literacy Programs

Description:
Jenny Burke (Community Library of DeWitt and Jamesville) and Jeanne Keller (Petit Branch) will instruct participants on the importance of using flannelboards in storytimes, programming, and more!
Participants will:
- learn how flannelboards enhance early literacy skills,
- understand the different types of flannelboards and how to incorporate them into programming,
- make their own flannelboard, and
- practice using them with a group.
Seasoned flannelboard users are encouraged to attend and share a favorite flannel or two!
