Please consider joining us for this amazing day of professional development, taking place at the Turning Stone Conference Center in CNY on Saturday, May 21, and part of the NYLA-SSL conference. The event will feature two inspirational authors/illustrators, noted below, as well as breakout sessions with topics such as: promoting books through mock awards and book madness, being an ally to LGBTQ+ students and patrons (you! and Rainbow Quest), evaluating AAPI Literature using the APALA rubric, breaking down cultural barriers using fables and fairy tales, and more!
