Learn the latest pronouns, flags, vocabulary and laws within the LGBTQ+ community.  Discover free resources to help you in your Alllyship and inclusive services beyond just PRIDE Month in June.  Explore best practices from other industries to support your mission at your site.  Come with questions, walk aways with answers on what it truly means to serve the LGBTQ+ population.

About the Presenter:

Lisa Koenecke is an award winning author of “Be an Inclusion Ally: ABCs of LGBTQ+.”  She has presented at the ALA Conference in Chicago and knows the vital role your profession has on allowing the LGBTQ+ community to thrive.  After 12 years as a middle and high school counselor, she is now a Counselor Educator at Lakeland University and also holds a Diversity & Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.  She has given a TEDx Talk and has presented in 45 states and globally.
