WNYLRC Webinar: Are You Ready? Exploring Potential Impacts on Special Collections and Archives in Academic Libraries Post-Covid

April 29, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm EDT

Why are we having this discussion? As recovery from the pandemic experience begins, many academic institutions are dramatically changing their operations and services for faculty and students. The libraries are facing challenges that may impact their ability to successfully store and manage special collections.  Can we look at these in any new ways to help make them more relevant to the academic institutions today?

And if we are faced with a situation where we are asked to consider making significant changes to our archives and special collections, what do we need to know to be able to respond quickly and effectively?

This session will approach these questions in an interactive format to help academic librarians be better positioned to respond to a potentially changing environment.
