Great exposure for central New York libraries…
Fayetteville Free Library Executive Director, Sue Considine, was proud to participate in the Governor’s Technology Education Roundtable meeting at the Tech Garden in Syracuse on Wednesday, September 30th. The FFL was the only library invited to participate in this critical discussion about the current technology education environment in the CNY region and what is needed to help expand and improve it throughout New York.
Sue spoke about how libraries across the state can and do contribute to the advancement of STEM learning opportunities and how libraries can and should be the link between the powerful components that already exist across our regions-schools, colleges and universities, industry, entrepreneurs.
We are eager for this conversation to continue and grow and for more libraries to join the discussion!
