Greater Hudson Heritage Network: Conservation Treatment Grant Program

The Greater Hudson Heritage Network (GHHN) is dedicated to advancing the preservation and interpretation of New York State’s historical, ethnic, and cultural heritages. GHHN’s Conservation Treatment Grant Program provides support for treatment procedures by professional conservators to aid in stabilizing and preserving objects in collections of museums as well as historical and cultural organizations throughout the state.

Grants of up to $7,500 are provided to nonprofit museums, historical organizations, and other cultural institutions that own, care for, and exhibit collections to the public. The focus is on institutions lacking in-house conservation staff with expertise in the area for which support is requested.

The application deadline is March 1, 2016.
