The redesigned New York Heritage Digital Collections website is now available as a public beta.

While the website has undergone a noticeable aesthetic facelift, we have also made fundamental changes to the website’s structure. Additional context is now available for contributing institutions and digital collections throughout NY Heritage. This will deepen users’ understanding of our materials and their importance to New York State’s history. Behind this redesigned and restructured frontend, our items remain in the same CONTENTdm repository as before. The next phase of this project will involve fully integrating the site’s appearance for a unified experience.

We still have a number of issues to resolve, but we want to share our progress and gather feedback. After exploring the redesigned NY Heritage website, please give us general feedback via this survey: https://goo.gl/forms/4tvsYNVAfnHeDltw1.

If you notice any specific problems with the site, please fill out a bug report here: https://goo.gl/forms/tB7jryakzdx7vFrC2.
