CLRC has scheduled appointments with regional Assemblymembers and Senators on March 1 in Albany.
Hop on the advocacy bus and join library supporters for NYLA’s Library Advocacy Day.
We’ll be discussing the impact our libraries have on the communities we serve and asking legislators to vote nay on the Governor’s proposed budget cuts to libraries.
Library Advocacy Day schedule:
Bus leaves CLRC*
10:00 am to noon
Morning appointments with legislators
Rally at noon
1:00 to 3:00 pm
Afternoon appointments with legislators
*Pickup locations will be at the CLRC office on Ridings Road in Syracuse and the North Utica Shopping Plaza in Utica (located at 50 Auert Avenue). Additional stops along the New York State Thruway at the Herkimer and Little Falls Commuter Park & Ride will be added if needed.
Cost for bus riders:
$33.00 for Library Advocates
$17.00 for Students
Driver gratuity is included in the fee.
