The New York Library Association Conference

I was very glad I had the opportunity to attend this year’s NYLA Conference. The theme, Revive, Refresh, Rekindle, seemed especially pertinent to me. Our staff has been experiencing a lot of very stressful situations lately and I was able to focus my attention at the conference on ways to help deal with that stress, both for me and for them. I’ve gotten several good ideas that I will be incorporating into our staff trainings in the near future. I’m grateful to CLRC and their Professional Development Awards that allow me to attend these events.
